Research and Development: "3D Shape Recognition Similarity Judgment"

Compare the feature quantities of existing shapes within the database! Use generative models such as VAE and GAN for training.

"Similarity judgment" refers to the process of searching for shapes similar to the input shape from a registered database. Feature quantities of the shape are extracted, and to compare them with the feature quantities of existing shapes in the database, generative models such as VAE and GAN are used for training. In many industries, such as manufacturing and construction, there is a shift towards design based on three-dimensional shapes using 3D CAD. Additionally, computer-aided technologies related to design and manufacturing, known as CAD, CAM, and CAE, are also based on three-dimensional shapes. 【Features】 - Extract feature quantities of shapes and compare them with existing shape feature quantities in the database. - Use generative models such as VAE and GAN for training. - Direct comparison using 3D shape recognition AI. - String comparison using text-based AI. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[BIM Software Implementation Case] Linnanmaki Amusement Park

Modeling the foundation and ride facilities of a roller coaster, and constructing it between existing attractions!

The roller coaster at Linnanmäki Amusement Park in Helsinki, Finland, began construction in 2018 and was completed in 2019. The project was agreed to be carried out during the amusement park's off-peak season, so the demolition work started after the summer peak season and the attraction needed to be completed before the following summer. Ensuring sufficient distance from existing structures and facilities was a major challenge in determining the shape of the roller coaster, and the varying landscape due to height was also a consideration in designing the foundation. The contractor conducted extensive laser scanning of the bedrock surface at the construction site, and this information was used in the design of the foundation for excavation and the installation of stress anchors. "Tekla Structures" can incorporate laser-scanned terrain data, allowing for the design of the foundation that secures the rails based on that data. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us. Mechanical Design Division

Designing dedicated machines and transport equipment for improving productivity and reducing costs, as well as semi-automatic small devices and jig improvements to accommodate small quantities and a variety of products.

To meet the diverse needs of modern times, we are advancing our efforts in new technologies. However, there are specific design rules unique to our customers, so it may take some time to learn them. This is to ensure smooth business operations and to eliminate unnecessary revisions to drawings. We kindly ask for your understanding as needed. By progressing our work more quickly and accurately, we believe we can reduce costs for our customers and are committed to being of service to them through our daily efforts.

Data Integrity Compliance Software for Laboratory Process Management

Is LIMS not enough?! Ensure data integrity with LabX Server, the software for process management in laboratories!

Since the FDA announced its data integrity guidance, more companies have decided on their response policies and have gradually begun to take actual action, but is their response truly sufficient? Many users have already implemented common information systems used in laboratories, such as LIMS, but the critical flaw of these systems is that they only record test reports. Unless it can be proven that the processes leading to a certain test result are complete, consistent, and accurate, data integrity cannot be achieved. Metler Toledo's "LabX Server" can integrate with LIMS and ELN, and it comprehensively manages not only sample information and test report management through higher-level systems but also the results of measurement and testing processes, each step execution results, equipment used, and whether any modifications were made. Furthermore, because it can reliably execute everything from workflow design to management, it also serves as a mistake-proofing measure in laboratory work, helping to avoid risks such as redoing tasks and wasting samples. Please take a look at the details of Metler Toledo's LabX Server, which simultaneously achieves efficiency improvement, productivity enhancement, and data integrity assurance.

BIM compatible. Free 3D CAD seminar for the construction, equipment, and plant industries.

We introduced 3D CAD for efficiency, but the workload keeps increasing... Many companies share the same concern. Shall we unravel this contradiction?

Are you facing problems like these? - I introduced 2D CAD because I couldn't create drawings with 3D CAD. - Every time I modify the 3D data, I have to update the drawings, which is a hassle. I can't keep up with the revisions. - There are many missed or incorrect modifications in the drawings, so I'm managing to get by with 'on-site adjustments.' The BIM-compatible 3D CAD system 'TopSolid’Design7' that we will introduce in this seminar solves the issues faced by the construction, equipment, and plant industries. - It can handle the entire workflow from planning and design to the creation of construction drawings within a single system. - The 3D data and 2D drawings are linked, so when there are design changes, you only need to modify the 3D data, and all drawings will be automatically updated, eliminating mistakes and omissions, significantly improving productivity. - It is compatible with BIM, the industry-standard format, allowing you to share 3D data with partner companies.
